Blake Austin (T: @RAKEwBLAKE, IG: @usaprimebaseball, FB: @usaprimebase) is one of the most sought after hitting coaches in baseball. He’s often referred to as ‘the mad scientist’ because of his willingness to go outside the box and into other fields, such as golf, to learn more about swing mechanics. His ability to do so may have rubbed some traditionalists the wrong way but it has allowed his clients to achieve levels no one thought possible.
Blake is also a golf fanatic and has been applying his knowledge of the baseball swing to golf. Along that journey he has identified many similarities, as well as differences, and believes coaches from both sports would benefit greatly from consulting with one another. Blake has mastered blending the ‘old school’ ideas with modern technology and has helped many improve their game and reach the next level.
